SIENA: I MIGLIORI MUSEI, NON SOLO TURISMO DI MASSA

Siena è una città toscana tra le più conosciute, infatti molti bus turistici la includono nei loro tour e ne fanno un punto fondamentale da non perdere per chi visita la Toscana in pochi giorni. Tuttavia ci sono da vedere molte più cose oltre al Duomo e Piazza del Campo. SIENA The National Gallery of Siena is into Palazzo Buonsignori (XV century), it's the most important public museum. You can find fascinating works of the painters of Siena (XIII-XVIII centuries). The visit is organised cronologically. LA VALDICHIANA CHE TI SORPRENDE: MONTE SAN SAVINO

Questo paese è un connubio di storia e cultura dei popoli che hanno vissuto la Valdichiana come gli etruschi, i romani e poi gli Ubaldini (nel 1300), progettata dal Vasari (da cui vengono aperte le mura medievali del '500). The Town Museum exhibits a collection of pottery and majolica from medieval age. This tradition is still an important feature of this town. The curch of Sant'Agostino has an interesting cycle of frescos by Spinello Aretino (XV century) and an "Assunzione"by Vasari. There is also a beautiful cloister renewed in 1500 by Andrea Contucci known as Sansovino with sculptures and and great architecture.

La Valdichiana è ricca di luoghi meravigliosi immersi nella storia e nella cultura di un territorio unico. CASTIGLION FIORENTINO The Archaeological Musem of this town is located on the top of the town in the court with the Cassero tower. To vist the museum you follow an impressive, underground route and visit an open dig. There is also an interesting Council  Gallery  with jewelery and paintings by Taddeo Gaddi, Bartolomeo della Gatta . The Pieve di San Giulano Museum is an other place to visit in Castiglion Fiorentino and it has frescos by Luca Signorelli and some works in terracotta from the Robbia  school

It has a little museum, there you can see works by Luca Signorelli and other authors. The tree of love The tree is a scultpure made of gold, it's a simbol for young lovers who ask happiness. FOIANO DELLA CHIANA This little village has an interesting collection of "Robbianesque": works from Andrea della Robbia, important artist from Arezzo which uses the terraccotta. Propongo una lista di Musei, luoghi al chiuso da visitare partendo anche da una calda estate. The etruscan valley is reach of history, art and cultural places to appreciate. CORTONA The visit start from one of the main etruscan cities. Here is the Museo dell'Accademia Etrusca (MAEC). It's  a very important museum for the etruscan history and the collections are amazing. The manufactes of the musem came from the nearby archaeological sites, like the etruscan tombs: Meloni I and II del Sodo date back to VI century B.C. There is also a Diocese Museum offers an art collection with important works by the great Luca Signorelli and Beato Angelico

AREZZO: SCOPRIRLA PARTENDO DAI MUSEI

Arezzo is the main city of one tuscan provinces. The history is very old from the ancestry, for example , talking about the archaeology there is an interesting and valuable collection into the Museum of Gaio Clinio Mecenate also because you can seen one of the most important roman architecture which is the Anfitheater (built in Adrian age). Arezzo was also an important medieval centre in Medieval Age, you can see it visiting the Basilical Church of San Francesco (historically it was the second most important church of the town), inside the building  there is also the masterpiece of the artist Piero della Francesca (borned in Arezzo). If you like also Modern art so dont'miss the Museum house of Vasari, one of the main writer, painter of the fifhundred century (he borned and lived in Arezzo) To end a wonderful weekend between art, culture and history the last think you could do is to visti the National museum of medieval and modern art.
